If you go out to the forest at night and sit and read aloud...if you're very lucky...the fairies will come to listen. But only if you sit very still. And only if it's a story full of fun and adventure! But don't turn around to look behind you. You'll scare them all away!
Just a little something for fun...and to kill time. I've been working on this off and on when I've had a chance. So long now in fact that some of the stock photos I used have been taken down! Stock contributors: And a special thank you to |

There is no upper anchor for the frame. It bothers me because it looks like someone chopped the top of the picture off. That's sad, because I love the border.
My other issue is that the foreground elements are too disjointed from the background. The trees and the moon are perfectly layered, but the reader and the candelabra look like they were cut out of pictures and pasted into the forest scene. The reason is size. The reader, the candelabra and the fairies are way too large to make the scene feel realistic. But maybe it wasn't meant to be.
this is amazing G!
my 'suggestions'. pft. sure girl. whateva ya say. /me rolls eyes.
you've really captured a beautiful enchanting 'feel' with this!
i really dig that enlarged moon. it's almost 'ominous' in a way,...looming above,...
as if serving some other purpose other than to help provide light to see by,...
hmmm. sorta scary!
love the way you used the trees to 'frame' it too.
and such a large stash of reference stock! that unto itself is
dayum impressive!
oh. and as always,...thanks for the pimp! heh.

Wow, that is awesome! You have a terrific imagination and put it all together very well

I got a FEVER. And the only prescription...is more COWBELL.
... or perhaps a proud stag, a gracious hind and its fawn, a leaping roe-deer, under the eyes of owls... perhaps an intrepid young wild boar, some corbels and crows, a falcon, a peaceful wolf, an indolent bear, a swan which leaves the fog... The spirits of the forest are so numerous.... And all will fall asleep when the unicorn comes
